The rebirth of an icon
After a huge renovation in which €31 million was invested (14 million in construction, 10 million in equipment, and 7 million in expenses such as licenses, fees, and opening costs, among others), the renovated hotel, boasting 266 rooms, has once again welcomed national and international tourists who seek to be part of the city’s history and enjoy a 5-star experience.
In this way, this emblematic hotel, witness of the history of the Costa del Sol, has started a new chapter, reconverted into a 5-star hotel with an ambitious interior design project led by Jaime Beriestain in which the local and cultural richness, artisanal tradition and relaxed Mediterranean essence stand out.
The new Fuerte Marbella combines warm, harmonious, and open spaces that are inspired by huge Andalusian palaces or farmhouses, with earthy colours, terracottas, and warm, natural, and vegetal tones, always with a timeless vision.
